Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery versus Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy for Renal Stones Management: A Meta-analysis

   

      Endoscopic combined intrarenal surgery (ECIRS) is a novel way to approach renal cavities antero-retrogradely to remove renal stones since it combines flexible ureterorenoscopy (fURS) and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). ECIRS is considered useful in managing patients with large stones, special cases regardless of age and body habitus, and is proven to provide benefits including minimizing radiation exposure and risk of hemorrhage.
